Ireland has a growing reputation as a good food destination and we know there’s nothing like a
good meal after a long day’s fishing. The restaurant partner we have chosen provides award winning
food in spectacular surroundings. Much of the food served is sourced locally. Of course, if you prefer
to make your own dining arrangements, you are free to do so and we will assist by sharing some
recommendations with you.

And at night there’s plenty of “craic” in the local bars. “Craic” is a word used a lot in Ireland. It means
fun and enjoyable conversation.

The craic in Ireland is legendary and many people come on a lakeshore holiday for that alone. Local
pubs offer Traditional Irish music on certain nights and often Irish dancing as well. The atmosphere
can be electric at some of these sessions and often lasts well into the early hours of the morning.
This is what makes an Irish angling holiday about so much more than just the fishing.
