Guide Boat and Fishing Gear

I run an American 16′ Tracker Pro Guide aluminium fishing boat, complete with a minnkota trolling motor, plus hummingbird sonar at the front and rear powered by a 50 hp Mercury outboard engine. This boat has plenty of storage as well as a casting deck, live well (to help revive your catch before it’s release), navigation lights, bilge pump and everything else needed to provide a safe and comfortable day fishing.

I have plenty of tackle for hire if you need it – nets, rod holders, fish finders as well as rods and reels suited to jerk bait fishing and trolling.

Life Preservers/Jackets are compulsory safety equipment and they too can be provided .

I recommend that all clients bring the following gear with them for the lake:

• Sunglasses
• Peaked hat
• Waterproof jacket
• Waterproof pants
• Waterproof footwear
• Warm clothing
